屬於風的，那就去飛翔吧

ISPGR-International society for posture and gait research
是一個在義大利波隆納的學術研討會， 地點在歐洲第一所大學，1088年建的波隆納大學～
在我看到他們徵投稿的時候，
已經過了Deadline整整2個半月 (12月31日截止，我2月底才寄信去問)
在老師強烈的推薦之下，我就硬著頭皮寄信給editor問能不能再收一篇abstract
內容大致是寫：我們團隊兩年來都做這方面的topic，當知道有這個conference時很高興
但是我們知道得太晚了，
"We are shocked by this disaster.We know that we are late,
but still want to request an opportunity for abstract submission."

兩天後（星期天），我收到回覆：
"
Dear Dr xx,(咦?我還沒念博士班呀@@")
actually you're very late
and abstracts are already with the reviewers... (= =這我知道)
I can only ensure to temporarily re-open the submission website for a few hours.
(真的嗎?你人真好)
I will reopen this for you now but I'll have to close it again,
definitely on Monday March 2nd at 3 pm (GMT+1). (查一下才發現GMT+1是比台灣慢7小時的意思, 所以是到晚上十點)
So please take advantage of this time window if you want to submit.
No other possibilities will be allowed. (沒問題啦!!!!)
It is mandatory to use the attached template,
reading carefully the instructions you will find in it.

超開心超高興，
立即打電話給指導老師，結果指導老師說："那個註冊會員跟投稿要付60元美金喔?你要不要先考慮一下？問問有沒有補助？"
天呀....我就是要去我就是要去！！才60元美金（不過後來我老師幫我付了，感恩！）
....當初又是你叫我寄信給editor問的！

後來一波三折後，（包括詢問學校補助，國科會補助）
終於我投稿了！！60美金也付了！
過了兩天，
收到以下的信：
"ISPGR 2009:: Notification of acceptance:
Dear colleague,

We are pleased to inform you that your abstract "xxxx", reference xxxx has been accepted for presentation at ISPGR 2009."

在我開心的同時，我發現了，他說要叫我註冊....註冊費是460美元 for student!
心涼了一半

不過這是難得的機會耶～我還是會去啦～～～～



義大利～我來了！！！
